Our Journey

The SheLevate Story

From a small initiative to a thriving community, our journey has been fueled by passion, purpose, and the incredible women who've joined our mission.

SheLevate was founded in 2020 by a group of women technologists who recognized the stark gender disparity in the tech industry. What started as weekend coding workshops in a community center has grown into a comprehensive platform serving thousands of women across Nigeria and beyond.

Our name combines "She" and "Elevate" - representing our core mission to uplift women in technology. We believe that by providing the right resources, mentorship, and community, we can transform the landscape of tech one woman at a time.

Our Impact

To date, we've helped over 10,000 women begin their tech journeys, with 75% of our graduates securing tech roles or advancing in their careers.
